We are ramping up a new story project using the timeless, best-selling novel, The Joy Luck Club, written by Amy Tan (1989); its movie adaptation (1993), screenplay written by Amy Tan and Ronald Bass, and stage adaptation by Susan Kim which premiered at the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre in New York City (1999). The Joy Luck Club tells sixteen interlocking stories about the lives of four Chinese immigrant mothers and their four American-born daughters.
